Four-time NBA Champion, and current Cleveland Cavalier, Shaquille O'Neal is swapping his size-23 basketball shoes and breezy, cool basketball jersey for racing Velcro and a fire-retardant driver's suit to take on NASCAR's most popular driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. this Wednesday, June 23.

The 7-foot-1, 325 pound O'Neal will be racing Earnhart, Jr. as part of ABC's hit show "Shaq Vs." The event will take place at Concord Speedway, located at 7940 U.S. Highway 601 South in Concord. The public is invited to the event and admission is free.

Gates for the race will open 3 p.m. and all fans must be in their seats by 4:30. The actual race will begin at 5.

The race will be taped for the ABC series and by attending the event, fans agree to have their likeness shown on television. Fans should also note that no cameras, phones (of any kind) or any other recording device(s) will not be permitted inside the Speedway.

Concession stands will be open for fans, but will only be accepting cash. Finally, media is not permitted to cover this event.
